    Recipe Introduction

This stuff is addicting!! You can't stop at just one handful! I got this recipe from my neighbors in the apartments that I lived in while Jay was in Korea.

    List of Ingredients

6 to 8 cups popped corn
4 to 6 cups Rice Chex cereal
    1 cup pecan pieces (optional)
    1/2 cup light Karo syrup
    2 cups light brown sugar
    1 cup margarine or butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda

    Recipe

Preheat oven to 200F. In a large bowl, combine the popped corn, Rice Chex and pecans; set aside. In a saucepan, combine the syrup, sugar and margarine or butter and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla, then baking soda. Fold into dry ingredients. Spread on cookie sheets and bake for 1 hour. Turn onto waxed paper and allow to cool before serving.
