    Adapted from the Cattlemen's Beef Board

    List of Ingredients




    1 pound ground beef
    1/4 cup chunky salsa
    4 frozen Poppers (jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese or Cheddar cheese)
    1/4 cup prepared salsa con queso dip
    4 hamburger buns

    Recipe



    Mix beef and salsa in a large bowl; divide into four portions. Wrap each portion around a stuffed pepper, forming a ball, then flatten each ball into a patty. Grill over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes for medium doneness. Spread 1 tablespoon salsa con queso over each burger. Place burgers in buns. Serve with more salsa, if desired.

    Makes 4 servings.
