3/4 c. water
3/4 c. apple cider
1 c. organic rolled oats
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. diced pear
1/4 c. sweetened dried cranberries
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 c. chopped pecans, toasted
1/4 c. fat-free milk
Recipe
Bring water and apple cider to a boil in a large saucepan. Stir in oats and salt; reduce heat to low, and cook three minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add pears, cranberries, cinnamon, and vanilla, stirring gently to combine; cook three minutes or until oats are tender. Stir in pecans and milk.
Makes three servings of 3/4 cups each.
