    4 ALARM CHILI

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/2 lbs. hot Italian sausage (casing removed and crumbled)
    1 lg. onion, diced
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    2 tbsp. Wesson oil
    2 (15 oz.) cans Hunts Chili Beans (undrained)
    2 (15 oz.) cans Hunts Tomato Sauce
    1 (28 oz.) can Hunts Whole Tomatoes, drained and crushed
    1 c. beer or beef broth
    2 tbsp. Gehbardt Chili Powder
    2 tbsp. seeded and diced jalapeno peppers (optional)
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    Shredded Cheddar cheese, sour cream, green onions

    Recipe

    In Dutch oven, cook crumbled sausage, onion and garlic in hot oil until sausage is no longer pink; drain. Add remaining ingredients except Cheddar, sour cream and green onions. Simmer, uncovered, for 45 minutes. To serve top each bowl of chili with sprinkle of Cheddar, sour cream and green onions.
