    97 OCTANE CHILI

    List of Ingredients

    3 lb. lean ground chuck
    1 1/2 lb. onions, chopped med.
    3 cans (15 oz.) Brooks chili beans
    2 lg. green peppers, chopped med.
    1 qt. tomatoes
    1 qt. V-8 juice (or more as desired)
    Salt & pepper to taste
    2-3 tbsp. chili powder

    Recipe

    Brown hamburger and add onion and green pepper. Drain. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, stirring often. Reduce heat and simmer at least 2 hours (the longer, the better) and stir occasionally. Serve topped with shredded Cheddar cheese and cornbread.
