List of Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs ground beef, browned and drained
1/2 small green bell peppers, chopped finely
1 small onion, chopped finely
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 envelope french original chili seasoning mix
1 can diced Rotel tomatoes
1 (8 ounces) can tomato paste
1 can tomato sauce (if you like yours a little more soupy) (optional)
3-4 cans pinto beans (to taste)Recipe
1. Mix cooked beef, chillio mix, rotel, paste, sauce and beans in dutch oven.
2. Bring to a boil.
3. While waiting for this mixture to reach boiling stage saute bell pepper, onion and garlic.
4. Add to boiling mixture.
5. Reduce to a simmer, cover (vent lid) and cook a MINIMUM of 1 hour.
6. The longer it simmers the better.
7. This is great leftover.
8. We serve with american cheese and corn chips.
