List of Ingredients
2 1/2 pounds pork sirloin, 1/2" cubes
1/2 large white onion, diced
5 tablespoons flour
1 14 ounce can chicken broth
2 tablespoons granulated garlic
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 14 ounce can crushed tomatoes
2 tablespoons chicken soup base
1 packet pork gravy mix
3 16 ounce bags roasted green chilies, diced
and salt to taste
Recipe
1.) Brown port in 2T of oil, add onion & sauté until onion is opaque. 2.) Drain off majority of oil. Add flour & brown, stirring to make sure flour does not burn. 3.) Add chicken broth, garlic, cumin, crushed tomatoes, soup base, pork gravy mix, and chilies. 4.) Add enough water to pot to make liquid the right consistency (not to thick or thin). 5.) Cook for 2 hours, adding more water as needed. 6.) Salt to taste.
