Quick & Dirty Killer Chili

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 medium size onion
1 can kidney beans (15 oz.)
1 can black beans (15 oz.)
1 can tomato juice (11.5 oz.)
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. Liquid Ax hot sauce
Tortilla chips and shredded cheese (optional) Recipe
1.Chop the onion.
2.Heat oil in a large pot or iron skillet, sauté the onion.
3.Add ground beef to skillet and brown (i.e. until meat is no longer pink).
4.Add the beans (including liquid) , tomato juice and Liquid Ax.
5.Cover and simmer for 1 hour (a little longer if liquid is not reduced to
deliver the desired consistency).
Serves 3 to 4.
Serve hot, optionally with some shredded cheese on top, and corn chips
as a side. Goes well with a cold beer or two. Please note that even that
one table spoon of Liquid Ax makes this pot of chili mighty hot, so be
careful! Take more "Ax" if you have to feed those "nothing's too hot for
me" guests...
