RED BEAN AND UPPER CANADA LAGER CHILI

List of Ingredients
2 cups red kidney beans (cooked or canned)
1 tablespoon cumin seed, toasted and ground
2” cinnamon stick
1 carrot, chopped
12 ounces Upper Canada Lager
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 green pepper, chopped
1 hot banana chili, minced
1 cup cilantro, minced
¼ cup olive oil
½ stalk celery, chopped
6 cups crushed tomatoes
2 tablespoons chili pepper
1 zucchini, chopped
5 cloves garlic
2 onions, diced
1 red pepper, chopped
Recipe
1. In a saucepan, sauté the onions, garlic, celery, banana chili and green pepper until soft.
2. Stir in the cumin, chili powder, cocoa and cinnamon stick.
3. Add the remaining ingredients, except cilantro, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and let chili simmer until all vegetables are tender
4.Remove from heat. Remove cinnamon stick and add the cilantro and sea salt.
