SIZZLING FAJITA CHILI

3 chicken breasts
1 sirloin steak
1 red onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
4 cloves fresh garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon cumin
1 tablespoon chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 lime
½cup bottled fajita sauce
1 brick (16 oz.) frozen chili concentrate, thawed
2 cans (14 oz. each) chicken broth
1 can (26 oz.) tomato soup
1 can (26 oz.) petite diced tomatoes
1 can (15 oz.) white corn
2 cans (15 oz. each) chili beans
1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
1-2 jalapenos, choppedRecipe
Slice chicken and beef into thin fajita-sized strips. Add beef, chicken,
onions, peppers, garlic, cumin chili powder, salt and pepper and oil to
Dutch oven and brown meat. Sprinkle with fresh lime juice and fajita
sauce.
Add thawed chili concentrate and all can goods to Dutch oven and simmer
for 30 minutes. Before serving, add cilantro and jalapenos.
