    1-2 slabs of baby back ribs, seasoned and partially precooked for 45 minutes in a 450 degree oven
    2 large white onions, chopped
    1 large bunch celery, chopped
    1/2 cup olive oil
    2 28-oz. cans whole tomatoes
    1 28-oz. can tomato sauce
    1 40-oz. can of kidney beans, pureed
    1 handful of cocoa powder
    1 handful chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. brown sugar
    9-10 shakes of Worchestershire sauce

    Sauté the onions and celery in the olive oil for about 10 minutes. Then add all the remaining ingredients, except the ribs, in order. Cook for about a half hour.
    Cut the ribs in to 2-rib sections and add to the pot. Cook over medium heat for several hours, scraping the bottom and sides of the pan many times to get the blackened ingredients back into the mix. Remove the meat from the bones using tongs and a fork. The meat will fall off easily.. Discard the bones. Serve in bowls with hot cornbread.

    Serves 6.
