List of Ingredients
2 pounds ground beef, browned and well-drained
1 green pepper, diced,
1 yellow pepper, diced
1 red pepper, diced
1 medium sweet Vidalia onion, diced
28 ounces Red Gold diced tomatoes
8 ounces Red Gold tomato sauce
2 packages Wick Fowler's 2-alarm chili powder (discard remaining ingredients)
1 "bam" salt, to taste
2 "bams" black pepper, to taste
4 ounces Jardines Western barbecue sauceRecipe
Combine all ingredients, cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serves 6 to 8 firefighters. ("Firefighters eat big servings," Bill Renninger says.)
