List of Ingredients
3 lbs ground beef, coarsely ground
1 lb hot pork sausage
½ lb bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
2 large Spanish onions, chopped
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium bell pepper, chopped
1 12 oz. can tomato paste
2 14.5 oz. cans tomatoes & chilis, undrained
2 28 oz cans diced tomatoes, undrained
2 Anaheim Chili stemmed, seeded and coarsely chopped
2 15 oz. cans pinto beans, drained
2 15 oz. cans kidney beans, drained
2 15 oz. cans black beans, drained
2 cups water
1 oz. Unsweetened chocolate, chopped or grated
2 T chili powder
1 T ground cumin
1 T Mexican oregano
1 T salt
2 T sugar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
4 T white vinegar
1 T beef bouillon granules
2 T flour or corn meal
1 tsp black pepper
Recipe
In a large skillet over medium heat brown meats and onions. Drain fat and place in a large stockpot over medium heat. Mix in all remaining ingredients stir well. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 3 hours. Makes about 2 gallons
