Muy Bueno 5 Pepper Chili

List of Ingredients
1 1/3 lb Beef, lean ground
15 oz Tomatoes, canned, chunked
3 1/4 oz Tomato Paste
1/2 cup Celery, chopped
1 cup Onion, white, chopped
1/2 each Green Bell Pepper, deseeded, chopped
1/2 each Red Bell Pepper, deseeded, chopped
1/2 each Yellow Bell Pepper, deseeded, chopped
2 2/3 each Jalapeno Pepper, deseeded, chopped
1 each Green Chili Pepper, deseeded, chopped
1 TBL Iguana brand pepper sauce
3 1/4 tsp Equal or Splenda
1/2 each Bay Leaf
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Marjoram, dried, crushed
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
2 oz Mushrooms, canned (or fresh chopped)
Recipe
1 Slice all peppers long ways in quarters and remove all white pith & seeds, then chop in a food processor or chopper. Peel garlic, cut in pieces and place in chopper with last batch of peppers. Chop celery & onions.
2 In 6 qt. crockpot, combine all ingredients except gound beef. Turn on high and let heat.
3 In skillet, brown ground beef, drain well and stir into crockpot. Skim off excess fat.
4 Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. Skim off excess fat again, remove bay leaf & stir well before serving.
Serves 8.
