    PAULA'S HOT AND SPICY CHILI

    2 - 2 1/2 lbs. hamburger
    1 sm. onion, diced
    1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 tsp. hot Mexican chili powder
    1/2 tsp. garlic
    1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. chili seasoning

    Brown meat; drain grease and add all the seasonings. Add 1 (16 ounce) can of tomato sauce. Stir and simmer 5-10 minutes.

    In a 6 quart pan, mix together: 1 (29 oz.) can stewed or crushed tomatoes 3 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans (or Mexican beans) 2 tsp. sugar

    Then add the hamburger mixture. Sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese on top (optional). For spicier chili, add 1/4 teaspoon more of all the spices, except the salt and garlic.
