1/2 lb Kielbasa sausage, casing removed
2 lb Ground beef
1 med Onion, chopped
1/4 tsp Minced garlic
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 tbl Red wine vinegar
29 oz Diced tomatoes
32 oz Pinto beans, drained
2 tbl Chili seasoning mix
Recipe
In a soup pot, combine the sausage, ground beef, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper and cook over medium-high heat for 7 to 9 minutes, or until no pink remains in the meat, stirring frequently. Add the vinegar, tomatoes, beans, and seasoning mix to the meat mixture and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes; serve.
NOTE: Use whatever topppers you like or try some of these: shredded cheese or chopped onions and peppers, sour cream, tortilla chips or bread.
