List of Ingredients
5 pounds tri-tip roast
1 (14 oz.) can beef broth
1 (14 oz.) can chicken broth
2 white onions, diced small
7 cloves garlic, chopped fine
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
6 tablespoons California mild chile powder
3 tablespoons New Mexico hot chile powder
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
3 tablespoons cumin
2 tablespoons salt
Recipe
Cut tri-tip roast in 1/2-inch cubes and lightly brown in 2 tablespoons of cooking oil. Add all ingredients to a large pot and simmer for 2-3 hours to blend flavors.
