1 can of Mrs. Grimes Chili Beans
1 can of diced tomatoes with garlic and onions
1 small can of mushrooms
1 lb ground beef (85-90% lean)
1 small chopped onion
1 green pepper (1/2 diced, optional)
chili powder
sugar
oregano flakes
tomato juiceRecipe
Brown the ground beef with the onion and add in salt, pepper and about 1 tbsp of chili powder. Drain away any grease from the meat. Add in the beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, 1 tsp of sugar, 3/4 tsp of oregano flakes, chili powder (to taste) and tomato juice (to make a consistency you like.) Simmer for about 30 minutes. Enjoy!
