This was my mom recipe,to my children this is your grandma Rose recipe for Patee Chinois.


List of Ingredients




1 lb. hamburg meat
1 can creamed corn
1 onion,chopped
mashed potatoes
pastry for two crusts

Recipe



Brown hamburg with onion in fry pan.
Line square baking cake pan with pie crust so that the edges go over the sides.Put a layer of mashed potatoes over the crust;add meat and onion mixture on top and then the can of cream corn.Finish with a layer of mashed potatoes.Cover with the a crust.
Bake at 350 deg.oven for about 3/4 hour or until golden brown
