6 cup thinly sliced potatoes ( about 6 medium
1 sliced medium onion
2 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
2 tbsp. margarine
2 cup milkRecipe
In a greased baking dish arrange all ingredients except milk in layers,starting and finishing with potatoes.Pour milk on top.Cover and bake at 350 deg. until milk come to a boil (about 45 minutes);remove cover and continues baking until potatoes are tender.
Make 6 to 8 serving
P.S. I didn't use onion,my children didn't like it that way.
Cream Soup Method. My children favorite.
Omit flour and salt from recipe(and onion) and reduce milk to 1/2 cup. Combine milk with a 10 oz can condensed cream of chicken,or celery,mushroom soup and continue as above.
