    Gelatin Poke Layer Cake

    List of Ingredients

    2 baked 8 or 9 inch white layers,cooled
    2 pkg. (4 serving size) or 1 pkg.(8 serving size) Jell-o Brand Gelatin,any flavor
    2 cup boiling water
    3 1/2 cup (8 ounces) Cool Whip Non-Dairy Whipped Topping

    Recipe

    Place cake layers,top-sided up,in 2 clean 8 or 9 inch cake pans.Prick each cake with utility fork at 1/2 inch intervals.Dissolved gelatin in boiling water.Carefully spoon over cake layers.Chill 3 to 4 hours.Dip 1 cake pan in warm water for 10 seconds;then unmold onto serving plate.Top with about 1 cup of the Whipped topping.Unmold second cake layer and carefully place on first layer.Frost top and sides with remaining whipped topping.
    Chill.
