List of Ingredients




3 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 cup raisins
1 cup applesauce or crushed pineapple
1 cup nut
1 1/2 cup gumdrop cut in half
no black one

Recipe



Sift dry ingredients in a large bowl.Mix washed and dried raisins with the gumdrops and nuts in another bowl. In a third bowl,cream margarine,sugar and eggs together.Add dry ingredients alternately with the applesauce.Fold in fruit mixture and pour into 2 loaf pans or a large tube pan which has been covered with foil.Bake at 275 deg. oven for about 2 1/2 hour.
This cake keep weel in a dry cool place.
