List of Ingredients

1/4 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 can tomato soup
1/2 cup nuts
1/2 cup raisin
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp.salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp.nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 cup raisin or nuts


Recipe

Cream shortening and sugar in a bowl.Add tomato soup,baking soda,raisin,nuts and spices.Mix well flour,baking powder and salt together.Mix into creamed mixture.Greased a 9 x 12 inch pan.
Bake in a 350 deg. oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Note:
If you want a fruit cake add peel and currant.
