4 squares Unsweetened Chocolate, chopped
1/4 cup margarine
3 1/2 cups icing sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Recipe
1 Melt chocolate and margarine in a double boiler (over hot water). Cool to lukewarm.
2 Mix together sugar, milk and vanilla. Add chocolate and mix on low speed with electric mixer for 1 minute or until smooth. Chill until frosting is of spreading consistency (about 30 minutes).
3 Spread 1 cup frosting between cake layers and remaining frosting over top and sides of cake.
