German Potatoe Pie

List of Ingredients
- 1 cup sauerkraut, squeezed dry
- 2 baking potatoes, peeled, grated and squeezed dry
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 tes caraway seeds
- Salt & Pepper
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 9-in pie shell
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375.
- In a large bowl combine sauerkraut, potato, salt, pepper, caraway seeds and bacon.
- in small bowl, beat together the eggs and cream. Stir into the potato mixture. Pour the mix into the pie shell; transfer to baking pan and bake for 35 minutes until the edge brown.
Final Comments
Serve warm or at room temp.
