List of Ingredients
- 3 cups parsnips
- 2 cup carrots, peeled and diced
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 cup dried Great Northern Beans
- 5 cups water
- 1 1/2 lbs smoked ham hocks
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
Instructions
- Place veggies in slow cooker, top with beans. Add remaining ingredients.
- Cook on high for 6 to 7 hours, or until beans are tender.
- Remove hocks, cut meat into bite size pieces and discard bones.
- Return meat to slow cooker and heat through.
