Fajitas (Beef or Chicken)

List of Ingredients
- 1 to 1.5 pounds beef skirt steak or boneless chicken breast halves
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Combine meat, lemon juice, oil, onion, and garlic in a plastic zip-top bag. Marinate in the fridge for at least a few hours to overnight.
- When you're ready to cook, salt and pepper the meat. You will get the best flavor if you cook it on a gril, but you can also cook it on a hot skillet or even under the broiler.
- Serve with tortillas plus any of the following: sour cream, grated cheese, guacamole, caramelized onions, and salsa. (The Guacamole and Caramelized Onions recipes are on this site too.)
