    English Muffin Bread

    (Makes 1 1-lb loaf)

    1 C water
    2 T sugar
    3 T nonfat dry milk
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    2 1/2 C bread flour
    1 T gluten (optional)
    1 3/4 tsp bread machine yeast

    Put in bread machine pan in order suggested by manufacturer. Use basic/white bread setting or light setting (my favorite). Do not use delayed bake feature. This bread is good toasted.
