    Strawberry Banana Smoothie (Vegetarian)

    Recipe Introduction

    Silk is a very good product, but on the pricey side. You can substitute the soy milk with regular milk. You can make this more of a high protein shake by adding protein powder to it. By using the frozen berries you make the smoothie have more body. You can use fresh fruit and add ice cubes for the same texture, but with a diluted nutritional value.

    List of Ingredients

    Tools

    Blender
    Spoon
    Knife
    Measuring cup
    Measuring spoon, 1 Tbl


    Ingredients

    1 C Silk Plain or Vanilla Soy Milk
    1/2 C Frozen strawberries
    1 C Sliced banana
    2 Tbl sweetener of choice

    Recipe

    Serves: 2
    Time required: Prepare: 5 minutes
    Difficulty: Easy


    Directions

    1. Add everything in blender.

    2. Blend till smooth and creamy.


    Serve with

    A hot night as dessert before going to bed.

    Oatmeal, french toast, cereal and anything else you have for breakfast.

    Salad and cottage cheese for a quick lunch.

    Sandwiches.


    Variations

    *Add ice to give it a more thick texture.

    *Use yogurt to make it creamier and thicker.

    *Put fruit juice in a concentrated form.

    *Add a protein powder for a more high protein drink.

    *Add in honey to sweeten it up.
