2 cups blueberries
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 Tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 cup boiling water
1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ cup milk
3 Tablespoons butter, melted
Recipe
Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
Combine blueberries, cinnamon, and lemon juice and place in the bottom of the baking dish.
Combine flour, 3/4 cup sugar and baking powder in a bowl. Combine milk and melted butter and add to the flour mixture.
Spoon this mixture on top of the blueberries in the baking dish. Combine 3/4 cup sugar with the cornstarch and sprinkle over mixture in the dish.
Slowly pour boiling water over all the ingredients. Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes.
