4 cups sliced peaches (about 6 peaches)
1 cub sugar, divided
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup whole milk
Recipe
Combine peaches and 1/2 cup sugar;
let stand 15 min., or until a syrup forms.
Melt butter in an 11-inch by 7-inch
baking dish at 350 degrees.
Stir together remaining sugar, flour,
baking powder and milk. Pour batter mixture over
melted butter, but do not stir. Spoon peaches over
mixture, but do not stir.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 55 min.
Serve warm cobbler with ice cream. Makes about 6
servings.
