    1/2 cup (120 ml) light mayonnaise
    1/3 cup (80 ml) low-fat (1%) milk
    1½ teaspoon (7.5 ml) Dijon-style mustard
    1 Tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
    1/4 cup ( 60 ml) grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) garlic powder
    1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
    1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper
    1 large head romaine lettuce, washed and torn into bite-sized pieces

    Recipe



    In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients except the romaine; whisk until smooth and creamy.

    Place the romaine in a large salad bowl and toss with the dressing. Serve immediately. Yield: 1 cup (240 ml)
