1 lb Ziti
1 lb ground beef
1 (16 oz) can Red Kidney Beans
1 (24 oz) can Whole Tomatoes
1 medium Onion, chopped
1 medium Green Pepper, chopped
2-3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to tasteRecipe
In a large skillet, sauté chopped onion and green pepper in 2 Tablespoons olive oil.
Add hamburger and brown (you may need more oil if your ground beef is very lean).
Add beans (do not drain), tomatoes and seasonings. Simmer 20- 25 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook ziti according to package directions. Drain and add to meat mixture and heat through. Serve with grated parmesan or Romano cheese.
