2 TABLESPOONS MAYONNAISE
8 SLICES RYE BREAD
¼ CUP CHOPPED WALNUTS

COMBINE THE CHEESE WITH MAYONNAISE.
SPREAD ONTO 4 SLICES OF BREAD. SPRINKLE WITH THE WALNUTS AND TOP WITH THE REMAINING SLICES OF BREAD.
HEAT THE BUTTER IN A SKILLET OVER MODERATE HEAT AND FRY THE SANDWICHES UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN AND THE CHEESE HAS MELTED, ABOUT 2 MINUTES ON EACH SIDE.
