2 c powdered milk
3/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 c, instant beef bouillon or chicken bouillon granules
2 T. dried onion flakes
1 tsp. crushed dried thyme leaves (optional)
1 tsp, crushed dried basil leaves (optional)
Recipe
Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. To prepare for cooking, mix 1/3 c of dry mix with 1 1/2 c of water. Cook and stir until thick (can use the microwave to expedite this if you like)
If your recipe calls for cream of celery soup, microcook some diced celery and add it to the sauce mix. Same for mushrooms
