    Recipe Introduction


    I have made this, so it's definitely "tried and true" - really good, and very easy! Also an easy recipe to cut in half for a smaller crockpot (works great in the 1.5 quart). (Notes included in the recipe are from LindaChicken.)

    List of Ingredients




    1 16 oz Elbow Macaroni
    ½ cup Margarine
    2 12oz Evaporated Milk
    3 cups Milk
    24 oz Grated Sharp Cheddar*
    1 Tbsp Minced Onion, (optional)
    1 Tbsp Oil
    1 tsp Salt
    Pepper to Taste
    1-2 Carrots, grated (optional)

    Recipe



    Put all of the ingredients in the crockpot. Cook on low for 3-4 hours, or until noodles are soft.

    *You may use Velveeta Cheese, cut in chunks. Yes, you do use both kinds of milk.

    Note: To cut down on fat, use nonfat evaporated milk, nonfat skim milk, less than 24 oz of cheese, and less than 1 stick of margarine. You may also add grated carrots for additional nutrition.
