Recipe Introduction

This roast always gets rave reviews - it's wonderful with any kind or cut of roast.

List of Ingredients

1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3-3 1/2 lb. roast
3 Tbsp. oil
1 cup Coca Cola
12 oz. bottle chili sauce
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. hot pepper sauce



Recipe

Mix the Coca Cola, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce. Set aside. Rub the roast with the salt, pepper and garlic powder. Heat the oil in a roasting pan, then sear the roast on all sides. Pour the Cola sauce mix over the roast. Cover and bake in a 325F oven for 2 1/2-3 hours.

Note: depending on the size and kind of roast, cooking time may be longer, and it doesn't hurt this roast to stay in the oven for several hours. The longer it cooks, the more tender it gets.
