    Recipe Introduction

It's amazing that something this simple can be so awesome! Born of desperation, when I didn't have much to work with, but now something that should be on the weekly menu!

    List of Ingredients

4 large squares of heavy duty foil
    cooking spray
    1 lb of smoked sausage
4 medium potatoes, peeled if desired, sliced very thinly
4 carrots, peeled, sliced very thinly
    1 medium onion, sliced thinly
    sea salt
chicken or steak seasoning grinder, or fresh cracked pepper
    soy sauce

    Recipe

Preheat oven to 400, and have a large baking sheet ready.

Lay out the squares of foil and spray the center (where you'll place the food) with cooking spray.

Start layering: Begin with potatoes, and season each layer with salt and pepper or seasoning blend. Next lay the carrots on, and season again. Top with the sausage and onions, the sprinkle with a little soy sauce (maybe 1/2 tsp per packet, you don't need a lot).

Bring the corners of the foil up to the center and seal tightly. Place packets on the baking sheet and park them in that preheated oven (400) for about 40 minutes. Open the foil carefully (HOT!) and check the potatoes and carrots for doneness.

    Serve and enjoy!
