    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/4 lb. boneless lean top round, cut into cubes
    • 1 qt.low sodium beef broth
    • 2 cups stewed tomatoes
    • 1 tsp. reduced sodium soy sauce
    • 2 drops hot pepper sauce
    • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
    • 1/2 green pepper
    • 1 carrot chopped
    • 2 celery stalks chopped
    • 3 oz. quick cooking barley


    Instructions


    1. Broil beef 4 inches grom heat for 6 minutes, or til done, turning once.
    2. In a large saucepan add all the ingredients, including the meat.
    3. simmer covered for 30-45 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
