Beef and Barley Soup - part 2

List of Ingredients
- 1 1/4 lb. boneless lean top round, cut into cubes
- 1 qt.low sodium beef broth
- 2 cups stewed tomatoes
- 1 tsp. reduced sodium soy sauce
- 2 drops hot pepper sauce
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 green pepper
- 1 carrot chopped
- 2 celery stalks chopped
- 3 oz. quick cooking barley
Instructions
- Broil beef 4 inches grom heat for 6 minutes, or til done, turning once.
- In a large saucepan add all the ingredients, including the meat.
- simmer covered for 30-45 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
