    Low Calorie Pepper Steak


    1tbsp. Of Brummel and Browns spread
    1 1/2 lb of round steak, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 lb of stewed tomatoes (low sodium)
    1/4 c. water
    2 tsp instant beef bouillon
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 tbsp. Kikkoman light soy sauce
    2 tbsp cornstarch
    1 green pepper, thinly sliced

    Recipe





    Brown steak and onions in "butter". Add tomatoes, water, bouillon and garlic powder. Cover and simmer 1 hour.

    Blend soy sauce and cornstarch; add to beef mixture. Stir constantly until thickened.

    Add green peppers and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Serves Six.
