    The Deli Red, White and 'Bleu'


    1 (1- to 1 1/2-pound) loaf French baguette
    3/4 pound JENNIE-O TURKEY STORE® GRAND CHAMPION® Skinless Turkey Breast, thinly sliced
    2 to 3 medium red tomatoes, sliced
    2 cups baby arugula
    4 slices red onion, separated into rings and thinly sliced, if desired

    1/2 pound blue cheese, crumbled
    4 ounces cream cheese, softened
    1/4 cup mayonnaise
    12 cup peanuts or walnuts, toasted

    Recipe






    1. Slice the baguette in half horizontally.

    2. Spread the bottom half of the bread with ½ of the bleu cheese spread.

    3. Layer the turkey, then tomatoes, and top with arugula.

    4. Add red onion, if desired.

    5. Spread top of bread with remaining bleu cheese spread and top the sandwich.

    6. Secure the sandwich with bamboo picks or skewers.

    7. Slice into 8-10 slices. Bleu Cheese Spread Blend all ingredients together until smooth in a bowl with a wooden spoon or spatula. You can add minced chives or green onions or use shredded sharp cheddar cheese instead of the bleu cheese.
