Farmhouse Barbecue Muffins
1 tube refrigerated biscuits
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Recipe
Flatten each biscuit into 5 inch circles.
Press each into bottoms and up the sides of greased muffin tin.
In a skillet, brown ground beef, drain.
In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, and chili powder; stir until smooth.
Add to meat mixture and stir well.
Divide the meat mixture among the biscuit lined muffin cups.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 375 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes.
Cool for 5 min. before removing from muffin tin..
For a variation, use pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese.
Also can add onion to ground beef while browning.
