MICROWAVE BARBECUED RIBS

3 lb. ribs
salt and pepper
1 c. ketchup
1/2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. each: Worcestershire
sauce and fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. coriander, crushed
3/4 tsp. fennel, crushed
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 small onion, thinly sliced
Recipe
Cut ribs into serving-size pieces; season with salt and
pepper. Arrange ribs in 3 quart 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Cover dish with plastic wrap. Microwave on High 15 minutes;
drain excess fat from dish and turn ribs. Combine ketchup,
orange juice, vinegar, Worcestershire, lemon juice, coriander,
fennel, chili powder, garlic and salt and brush on ribs. Lay
onion over top; cover with plastic wrap and cook on High 15
minutes. Let stand, covered, for 5 minutes before serving.
Note: Microwave High, 15 minutes and 15 minutes.
