Liver Brownies
1 lb liver, any kind
1 c cornmeal
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp anise seed
1/2 tsp salt
Recipe
Pat liver dry with paper towels. Cut into sm. chunks and grind in food processor. In large bowl, mix liver with cornmeal and flour Thus will be very stiff and all the flour may not blend in, so gradually add garlic and salt.
Spread mixture on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Allow to cool 10 minutes; cut into squares. May be refridgerated or frozen.
