Mexican Pork Steaks
1-1/2 tsp. vegetable oil
6 pork blade steaks, 1/2 inch thick
1-1/2 cups chunky style prepared salsa
1/2 cup water
3 Tbs. lemon juice
3/4 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 cup plus 2 Tbs. cilantro, chopped
Recipe
Heat oil in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Brown pork steaks
on both sides. Combine remaining ingredients, except cilantro, in a bowl.
Season with salt to taste. Pour mixture over chops. Cover and simmer 10-12
minutes. Sprinkle with cilantro and serve.
