ORANGE BUTTERMILK SALAD

1 20-oz. can crushed pineapple, undrained
2 3-oz. pkgs. (or one 6-oz. pkg.) orange flavored gelatin
2 cups buttermilk
1 8-oz. carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
Recipe
In a saucepan, bring pineapple to a boil. Remove from heat, add gelatin and stir to dissolve. Add buttermilk and mix well. Cool to room temperature. Fold in whipped topping. Pour into an 11x7x2-inch dish. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Yields 12 servings.
