• 2 T. bacon grease
  
• 4 c. shredded purple cabbage
  
• 2 c. diced apples
  
• 1/4 c. water
  
• 1/4 c. vinegar
  
• 1/4 c. brown sugar
  
• 1 t. caraway seeds
  






Instructions



1. In a large saucepan, combine all ingredeints and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Continue to cook for 15 minutes for crispy cabbage or 20 minutes for softer cabbage.
