    These burgers are great on toasted hamburger buns with a small amount of mayonnaise, a large slice of tomato and thin slices of purple onion. Pickles are also good, but I like mine on the side.

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/4 lb 93% lean ground beef
    1 1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp black pepper
    2 or 3 cloves of garlic minced
    1/2 tsp crushed dry basil leaves
    Non-stick spray oil

    Recipe



    Combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic and basil in bowl; mixing lightly (do not pack). Divide into 4 portions and flatten to 1/2 inch thickness. Heat grill to medium high; spray one side of the burger and place down on grill. Spray top side of burger before turning. Cook about 4 to 5 minutes per side, turning only once. You can adjust cooking time to suit your taste.
