    List of Ingredients


    • 1c. Sugar
    • 3/4 Shortening butter or margarine
    • 1 Egg
    • 1/4 cup Molasses
    • 2 cup flour
    • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    • 1 tsp. cinammon
    • 1 tsp. nutmeg
    • 1/2 tsp. ginger


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    2. Sift all dry ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.

    3. Mix sugar, shortening, egg and molasses together in another bowl.

    4. Gradually add dry ingredients to sugar mixture. Mix well.

    5. Roll dough into small balls and place on ungreased cooking sheet.

    6. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes.
