    This is a VERY EASY meal that takes all of 10 min to make.


    List of Ingredients


    • bread, 2 slices per person
    • sliced sandwich beef
    • butter, a good bit
    • flour
    • milk


    Instructions


    1. Toast the bread
    2. Slice the beef into bite-sized pieces, saute in butter.
    3. Add flour and stir until all meat is coated. Cook about 1 min.
    4. Add some milk and stir continually. As it cooks, it will thicken.
    5. If needed, add more milk or flour to get the consistency that you want for the gravy.
    6. Spoon gravy over toast and serve.


    Final Comments


    I think that I may have gotten this recipe out of a Betty Crocker cook book that my mother gave to me. It was the cook book she used when she first got married in 1959.
