Chipped Beef on Toast

Recipe Introduction
This is a VERY EASY meal that takes all of 10 min to make.
List of Ingredients
- bread, 2 slices per person
- sliced sandwich beef
- butter, a good bit
- flour
- milk
Instructions
- Toast the bread
- Slice the beef into bite-sized pieces, saute in butter.
- Add flour and stir until all meat is coated. Cook about 1 min.
- Add some milk and stir continually. As it cooks, it will thicken.
- If needed, add more milk or flour to get the consistency that you want for the gravy.
- Spoon gravy over toast and serve.
Final Comments
I think that I may have gotten this recipe out of a Betty Crocker cook book that my mother gave to me. It was the cook book she used when she first got married in 1959.
